The following machines are part of TT's Antique Toy Sewing Machine Collection.  Some people call these "Salesmen's Samples, but they are actually toys.  Many girls learned to sew on such machines.  TT's Granny used the one on the top of the list to sew clothes for her family.

Company in New York.  Made of Cast Iron on an oval base, with a felt  covered bottom.

 

This is not a toy, but a real sewing machine (as noted on the box).

 

Juanita used this actual machine to sew Shirley's baby clothes.
